This Saturday FELT presents a VR Highlight from Teyosh Studio, a multidisciplinary duo comprised of Sofia & Teodora, showcasing their subliminal BANANZA! virtual reality experience at FELT SuperHD on Saturday, December 16th. Bananza! explores and manipulates the social norms and phenomenology of our newly emerging digital society with pleasantries and emoji artifacts. Teyosh presented this VR experience for CineFest, an international film & media festival based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

“Bananza! is a journey through environments inspired by mediums and actions that are a norm in today’s child’s life such as gaming, Google searching or expressing oneself through emojis. Unlike how it was for previous generations who grew up exclusively in the offline world, for today’s child many experiences and notions are first experienced and perceived through digital mediums, only after which they get to know them in the offline world. On a journey you will encounter references of notifications, emojis and Candy Crush game.” – Sofija & Teodora
