As the self-proclaimed ‘outsider artist’ and member of the global art collective VAGUE WORLDWIDE, Liam’s work takes mundane objects and photographs that deform, twist, and glitch until they are no longer recognizable by the public eye.
“The idea behind the work for me was to encapsulate the ideas jungle brings to the work, which is mainly about art spreading happiness and love and not making it sad and negative. I introduced a carefree painting style into my texturing.” – Liam Bosecke
Traditionally coming from a music background, his newfound passion tends to focus on how textures can manipulate the physical form of objects in an experimental fashion, attempting to present certain feelings or concepts through his work.
Dreem Room brings together the work of outsider artist Jungle Phillips and Liam Bosecke. Jungle’s evolving masterpiece that is his home, Hartland, on Marion Road in Adelaide, Austarilia, is translated into digital space by Liam, encapsulating Philips’ ideologies in his own artistic vision.
